Over the last 12 months, a lot has changed at The Brooksbank School, improving behaviour, safeguarding and the learning environment. But our improvement journey won’t stop until we are a truly exceptional school.

We have a number of school governor vacancies on our local committee. These are a committed team of volunteers with a range of skills, experience and diverse perspectives who support and challenge our school leaders to ensure we offer the best possible education for our students.

We’re looking for people with a range of backgrounds, including parents and members of the local community. There are no specific qualifications for the role, but expertise relevant to aspects of the role is really helpful; be that from your experience in business, education, or personal experience. 

On 18 April, we are holding an informal information evening for anyone interested in the role, where you can find out more about what is involved and meet the team. T
