Head of Science Faculty

Leadership Scale: L5 - L9 (pay award pending)

 

The successful candidate will lead the Science Faculty at the Brooksbank School taking a strategic lead on the Science related curriculum.

The Brooksbank School is a large and popular comprehensive school and specialist Sports College. It is an oversubscribed 11 to 18 co-educational school with over 1700 students on role. We continue to be a forward thinking and outward facing school.

In Autumn 2022, the Brooksbank School Joins Together Learning Trust, a highly respected local multi-academy trust.  We are a close family of local schools, including Honley and Ryburn Valley High School, Ryburn Sixth and three primary schools.  Being part of a supportive trust brings many benefits to the school, staff and students.

Working in collaboration supports our schools to be better.  Through the professional development of leaders and staff, effective curriculum development, robust quality assurance, mutual support and great governance.

The successful applicant will join a strong and committed team of specialist subject leads who are a significant driving force for school improvement.
