We are also presenting two matinee performances for our primary school partners.  We’re thrilled to report that these are already sold out!

The Tempest with a steampunk twist

This production of The Tempest is an abridged and revamped version of Shakespeare’s final play.  It’s a tale of storms, wizards and redemption and lasts one hour.  The Tempest is being performed in The Studio and is an in-the-round adaptation featuring over thirty students from Year 8 to Sixth Form.  The play has been stamped with steampunk costume and make up, and students’ rehearsals are strong on acting, music, dancing and stage-management skills.

Free tickets are limited to 100 seats per performance and can be obtained by students from Hatch B or by calling 01422 374791 or emailing admin@bbs.calderdale.sch.uk.  Tickets will be reserved for collection prior to the performance.  Donations are most gratefully received.

We hope you will be able to attend this fabulous, steampunk piece of tempestuous theatre!
